Hola everyone! So here's Lydia, who promised to be good during this update. There's going to be ALOT of craziness ahead though, because in all honesty, normal families aren't interesting.
Hey, this is the Suikoden Yaoi community admin!
I created this community a VERY long time ago for myself and a few friends. In the beginning it was just a few of us, and this place barely had any activity and I never expected it to go anywhere. It was just a place to ramble for the few of us that had joined. But I stopped posting in my LJ several years ago (sometime before 2005 I think?) and had since forgotten that this community (which was never large to begin with) had ever been created in the first place. Then I get an e-mail from an LJ account telling me there is a spam post in the suikoden_yaoi community that I need to delete.
Then I follow the link, am reminded that I created this place, and find there are 350+ members.
When the f*ck did that happen?!
So here is the situation people: We need another admin. We can do that right? Or can there only be one admin? I can't remember. But if it is possible for me to share the duties with another person, then someone from here can volunteer. That way this place can actually be updated every now and then. That would be nice, wouldn't it? Updates?
( Pics or it didn't happen! )
That's the pictures alone - still typing up the text. Still trying to TRANSLATE my scrawling! But explanations forthcoming on most of these <3 <3 <3

Hi there! Well, the other day talking with my friend
rizuka we thought that would be great to read translated the chapter 49 she scanned days before.
That's why i asked for the translation to my friend Sanzaki Kojika, owner of Project Kurai Ryu fansub (the only one that translate KKM! manga into english). She accepted and I, as editor of KKM! for that fansub, have cleaned and edited this chapter.
So, here the chapter into english thanks to Project Kurai Ryu and the scans of
rizuka (thanks for all, dear! This chapter is dedicated to you ^^).
Also, as i'm spanish and with my fansub I release KKM! manga too, I've fansubed this chapter into that language. You can read it in this entry.
Project Kurai Ryu have a request for all KKM! fans. We have a translator (Sanzaki) and an editor (me), but we don't have RAWs... We have translated 4 volumes, and we want to continue with this project, so if someone can help us with RAW's, tell us, please!!!
That's all. Enjoy the bear bees!!!
(BTW, sorry for my grammar...)

So this Turkey Day break has been full of making things. Mostly food, actually. :) For Thanksgiving dinner, I made red bean paste buns...not very, uh, "traditional" but whatever, I spotted a can of "aduki beans" in the store for the first time on Tuesday and knew I had to try making them. This week in cooking, therefore:
Tuesday night: bean paste.
Wednesday night: dough.
Thursday: red bean paste buns.
Friday: quiche (spinach, bacon, and turkey)
Saturday: pumpkin pie
Sunday: pumpkin potato onion cheese soup.
Yay, food. :)
In other making-stuff news, I've been sewing. Since Halloween, I finished another wrap shirt, made a skirt and matching socks from a turtleneck (from a tutorial on craftster.org), reconstructed the heck out of the ugly pink sweater (also based loosely on a tutorial from craftster.org), made a couple of sleeves, started a light purple top from scratch that is taking a lot longer than originally planned since I'm improvising on the fly :P and....started the replacement duvet cover. Eep. Oh, and I started sewing scraps together to make a rag rug. It's kinda ugly as hell but I don't care. :D
Things I've learned in the process:
-My pattern for sleeves does not include seam allowance. Oops.
-Ruffles are surprisingly easy and somewhat meditative to make, even though I'm not really a ruffly kinda girl.
-Wal-mart has a "remnants" pile for sale that is *so* not remnant-y; I bought a good bit of yardage from under there that really wasn't small at all! (Also, they play O Tannebaum a LOT.)
-Fabric glue is my friend.
-Sewing on a bigger zig-zag stitch is way easier to seam rip when I fuck it up. :)
Pictures...are on Facebook, sorry.
(Oh, and the impostor on said Fbook is really and truly gone now. Yay!)
Still in the works:
-CCAC hoodie (I keep scaring myself off of this one. I did prove to myself that I can, in fact, sew sleeves onto a top properly, today, but I'm still nervous about screwing with my really beloved shirts. The purple top? One of the cheap-ass remnants, so that's not so bad.)
-Brown satiny skirt from a button-down shirt...want to finish this by the holiday party, but we'll see.
-The aforementioned duvet cover needs to be finished
-Deciding what to do with the too-tight sleeves I made for the purple top...cut and make into short sleeves? Leave open and dangly? I dunno!
There are dragons hiding back here! ;)![]()

This popped up on
fandomsecrets today. Thoughts, anyone?
I myself like using quotes if they pertain to the story somehow, but never within the actual context of the fic. Normally I reserve them for the beginning, with the source clearly stated. Does that make me pathetic and uncreative, or is the secret talking about plagiarism specifically? o_O;

For those of you who haven't seen this yet:

That's a list of information being distributed by TSR, of those considered "pirates." Problem is that they aren't distributing usernames, but REAL NAMES (some partial, some full) and EMAIL ADDRESSES.
If you know anyone who is or might be on the list, make sure they hear about this.

Second star on the right.
When I searched the internet for a solution on fixing the flashing red walls and purple grass all I found was "sorry, you can't play it unless you upgrade your graphics card." This community also gave the same advice. I managed to fix that problem without having to update my drivers or get a new card, and here's how:
**This wasn't my idea. I followed the instuctions from here, but I had to modify it a little. The majority of what I write here is exactly the same similar to what is said there.**
1) Go to the "TSData\Res\CSConfig\" file in your latest expansion folder.
Example: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\Config
2) Find the file named "Graphics Rules.sgr" and MAKE A BACKUP! (i.e. ctrl-c it and ctrl-v it on your desktop or wherever)
3) Open the Graphics Rules.sgr (the original, not the backup) using notepad.
4) Find "setb useSoftwareRasterizer true" and replace every true with "false". (Use ctrl-f to find them all)
Did that fix the problem? Does the game play? If so, good! It fixed the problem with my computer, too, but it also crashed whenever I tried to actually play the game. So, here's what I did:
**Before you begin, find out what type of graphics card you have. You can find out how to do that here.**
1) Restore the original file using the backup. (i.e. move the backup from the desktop to TSData\Res\Config) AND MAKE A NEW BACKUP.
2) Go to the section beginning with "Determine if gfx device is supported..."
If you notice, this section talks about what to do if your graphics card is not supported. It gives a set of commands that tells the game what to do. Each new command begins with "if" and "elseif" (and one that starts with "else"). There are 5 commands in total, and each deal with a different graphics card (ATI, NVidia, Intel, S3, unknown).
3) Find the command that talks about your graphics card.
In my case, I had to go to "else # unsupported/unknown vendor"
4) Find the "setb useSoftwareRasterizer true" line that directly pertains to the command and change true to false.
In my case, it was directly underneath "# unsupported/unknown vendor". In other cases it's just a few lines down.
Did that work? I'm not sure if that's all you need. I also changed one more line for added measure. I found the line "# require a card with at least 32MB" and changed the "setb useSoftwareRasterizer true" line that is directly beneath it from true to false. Tbh, I'm not sure if that specifically helped but so far I haven't had any problems.
Good luck. I hope this works for those who try it. REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU CHANGE YOUR CODE. Please let me know if it helped. Thanks. =)
Title: "Red Moon (Akatsuki)"
Author: Matrix Refugee
Rating: PG-13 for now, will go up to R for extreme violence and sexual content featuring questionable consent
Pairing (if applicable): mild touches of Tsuzuki/Hisoka and Muraki/Tsuzuki, but not really integral to the plot
Genre: Supernatural/Horror crossover (with Twilight)
Chapter (if applicable): Chapter One of a projected four
Comments: This started out its life as a typical "X from Y series introduces Edward to Mr. Pointy", but it started to evolve from there: we know how systematic and meticulous Muraki generally is about his victims, so it begged to be fleshed out into a full-fledged story. ...And then out of the blue, Tsuzuki and Hisoka decided to show up, and I think my conscience kicked in when I finished writing the central scene of the story (which defines "overkill" in more ways than one...) so I ended up bringing in a plotline for Bella (we know she couldn't live without Edward, and since the boys are shinigami...).

I read this series recently, and I cannot for the life of me remember the name or the fabulous author.
It's based after KHII, Sora, Kairi and Riku somehow summon up Axel's spirit to talk with Roxas. While Roxas/Sora are busy with Axel, Kairi calls Axel's heart and Riku decides to take it into himself, basically making Axel his Nobody. The rest of the series involves the growing relationships between the thre--sorry fiv-- no no, SIX individuals. And Riku killing Axel in the face a few times.
Help?
